Directioners just want you to give the guys a break.
The mature reaction from the fan boys and girls of pop group One Direction follows news that the band is taking a hiatus to focus on personal projects. The fans -- dubbed "One Directioners" -- have been more commonly known to throw hysterical fits over the sight of the "love of their life" eating a sandwich.
As the news emerged of the group's break, there was instead a call for calm. The four members, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne, have worked hard for this, fans said. The guys just deserve some time out, they said. It's going to be okay, they said.

After an initial scare that the band was breaking up for good, it was later confirmed that it is just a hiatus. Some fans have been kind enough to post definitions of the word "hiatus," with the hope of saving others any anguish.
