International webcam technology company EarthCam has released a two-minute time-lapse video showing the construction of the One World Trade Center, in honor of it overtaking the Empire State Building to become to the tallest building in New York.
The video shows the creation process over a number of years, as the building gradually rises upward from the site of the original World Trade Center Twin Towers. When it is fully completed, it will measure a dizzying 1,776 feet. Check out the time-lapse footage below:
