Meanwhile, the online mapping space is growing increasingly competitive. Once dominated by Mapquest, Google Maps has grown significantly over the past few years with its constant onslaught of new features and support of the developer community through its widely-used APIs. Microsoft has also ramped up its own efforts, acquiring Multimap in December for $50 million.
According to Hitwise statistics, Mapquest is still the leader in market share, though Google is quickly gaining ground. Today, we want to know which is your favorite:
