Music. To be fair, when it comes to music, we've heard mostly two things in 2007: problems with rules, laws and regulations on one side, and deals with major media companies on the other. Despite the old carrot and stick routine which made the music 2.0 landscape a bit boring, there are still some great music-related applications out there.

One of the best known music applications out there, Last.FM wasn't phased much by the recent increased fees for internet radio stations. With a strong backing and several deals with majors under its belt, it seems to have a bright future. Vote to make it the best music app of 2007.

Mixaloo, recently voted by us as one of the coolest web apps of 2007, must be every indie kid's favorite. I mean, mix tapes! You gotta love mix tapes! Mixaloo takes it a step further and enables you to actually make some cash with your mix tapes. Great idea, and a great little app which deserves your attention.

Plagued by problems and nearly going out of business because of the new fees and regulations which affect internet radios as well as closing its doors to international users, Pandora still has your sympathies. Vote to make it the best music application of the year.
