Openads, the free, open source adserver, has two announcements today, coming off its recent announcement of raising $5 million in Series A round of investment.
Its first announcement is in regards to its 2.3 beta version, with several upgrades. As planned, the funding has gone towards product development. The latest beta release offers more publisher tools, and has integration options for existing ad platforms and technologies. With more control for publishers, targeting ad campaigns, optimizing inventory and forecasting and improved reporting based on visitor behavior are just a few of the new features included in Openads' new release.
