This version brings a number of interesting updates, including faster browsing on slow connections, new interface design, an improved tab bar (which you can now pull down to see thumbnails of all your opened tabs), personalization of Speed Dial, and, of course, overall faster work. Opera 10 beta also improves on certain features introduced in Opera 10 alpha, with a better spell checker and the ability to choose whether you want automatic updates or not.

In other Opera-related news, according to StatCounter, Opera is currently leading the mobile web browser market, accounting for 24.6 percent of all web pages downloaded to mobile devices in May. It's turning out to be an interesting battle between Opera and iPhone, which lost its lead from last month and currently accounts for 22.3 percent of all pages rendered on mobiles. Opera works on most mobile devices, which gives it a slight advantage, but iPhone will surely get a bump if a new version of the device is indeed announced by Apple this summer.
