Ordering a pizza is a pretty lazy exercise in itself, but a pizza company in Australia is making it even lazier.

You can now order from Domino's in Australia by simply sending a pizza emoji or the word "pizza" to the number 0448 366 466. Yeah, seriously.

In the U.S. Domino's has been playing around with easy-ordering tech for a while now, including tweeting an emoticon, but this is the first time Australians can get in on the action.

Domino's explained who it's doing it for in a statement to Mashable Australia: “We know our customers ... They are the gamers who don't want to be far from their keyboards, the busy corporate workers, the social and the time poor parents. It's important we fit into their lives and we make it as easy and simple for them to order."

Wait, that sounds like all of us. Smart play, Dominos.

To make this work, you'll need to set up an account with your mobile phone number on Domino's website, then select a "Fast Favourite" order -- which is like speed dial for pizza -- or if you've already got an account and haven't got a "Fast Favourite," it will send out your last order. The system will also use the default payment method that you've selected on the site.

After that, it's easy as e-mo-ji -- and we've tested it out to see if it really works.

Ordering

Enter the number 0448 366 466 in your messaging app, send a pizza emoji, reply "yes" if you really mean it, and then you'll get a link to where you can track your order.

Wait for the pizza

Here you, just wait patiently, watching the world go by. Or watch the page where it'll tell you where your order is up to. Your choice.
