Oscar-nominated films get striking pop art posters

Even the most artsy film could use a little more pop.

Designers from Shutterstock revamped the poster art for Oscar-nominated films using the flashy colors and bold lines of pop art masters like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.

The series of creative compositions is part of an annual tradition called Oscar Pop! And with anticipation for the awards heating up (the telecast is on Sunday), perhaps some new poster art is just what these films need to set themselves apart for Best Picture.
