Summer vacation season has officially ended, but that doesn't mean you can't take a mental holiday. Unplug from the distractions, stretch back in your office chair and transport yourself to the beautiful Pacific Northwest for a few minutes of cerebral R & R.
Portland-based photographer John Eklund spent more than a year trekking around scenic spots in and around Oregon snapping 260,000 images along the way. Eklund pieced together the photographs to create a stunning time-lapse video that provides the perfect noggin vacay on a workday afternoon.
