Paltalk, the video-based online network, is bringing in Slash from the hard rock band Velvet Revolver, for an interactive session with users via PaltalkScene. The show premiers on Wednesday, Nov. 7th at 1 pm EST.
This will be a chance for fans to video and text chat with Slash, in real time, during his interview with Meiyee Apple Tam, which is an original program called MusicScene, produced by Paltalk. Slash will be there to promote is new book, "Slash," which hit bookstands last week. The self-titled autobiography covers Slash's career in music, his sting with Guns N' Roses, and the forming of his band Velvet Revolver.
PaltTalk's MusicScene is another example of an online community providing in-house content as a premium offering for its users. PodShow, JamNow and several others have moved in a similar direction as well, coupling celebrity interviews and self-produced content for users.
