Pando Networks is a New York City-based P2P service provider and software developer that Pete first covered all the way back in late 2005. If you remember them for anything, it's probably for their large file sending utility "Pando for the People" that allows you to send files upwards of 1 GB through IM or email.

PEHub reports that they've raise $8.12 million in a second round of financing, falling somewhat short of the intended mark of $20.89 million. Intel Capital, BRM Capital and Wheatley partners were investors in their last round of $7 million in 2006, but their backers this round preferred not to be named.
