Pandora Stock Drops 20% After Disappointing Earnings Report

Pandora's stock plummeted more than 20% in after-hours trading following the company's lower-than-expected revenue projections for the coming fiscal quarter.

The company reported earnings per share of $0.05 on revenue of $120 million for the third quarter, beating Wall Street's consensus estimate of $0.01 earnings per share on revenue of $117 million.

However, Pandora projects that it will report between $120 million to $123 million of revenue in the fiscal quarter ending in January, well below the $130.3 million that analysts had expected.

Pandora's stock ended the day up more than 5% at $9.45 a share, but dropped by about $2 in after hours trading on the news.
