The trend has taken off after gaming site Kotaku realized several people on the Chinese social networking site Sina Weibo began uploading photos of their pooch in hosiery. This image seems to have been the first of the meme (note the heels, as well):

Now nearly everyone is guilty of putting some shades or a nice hipster scarf on our dogs, though undergarments might be where the line is drawn. But, we are thoroughly impressed that these dogs managed to not get a run in their stockings with those claws. What brand are you all wearing?
