In memoriam: The short life of turkeys pardoned by presidents

For the last 25 years, presidents have ceremonially "pardoned” a turkey or two leading up to Thanksgiving. Sadly, pardoned turkeys just don't live that long, thanks to the way industrially-grown turkeys are fattened up. Only one bird pardoned by President Barack Obama has lived to see the following year's Thanksgiving. So let's take a moment to remember some of those we’ve lost.
