After the attack on the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris on Wednesday that left 12 people dead, people from all across France came together to pay respects to the 10 journalists and two police officers killed in the shooting.

Even as security forces continued an extensive manhunt for the two suspected gunmen, politicians, students, journalists and police officers observed a minute of silence at noon local time in remembrance of those lost.
