In the days following the Paris attacks, which left hundreds dead and injured, people have created memorials around the globe.
But much closer to home -- right in the windows of La Belle Equipe cafe, where as many as 19 were killed by gunfire -- handwritten notes pay tribute to the victims. France is currently observing three days of national mourning, which included a moment of silence at noon in Paris on Monday.
