There were the cars dropping out of a C-130, the adrenaline-fueled fight sequence and then, to top it off, there was that tribute to Paul Walker. Cue the waterworks.
Excited theatergoers unleashed their roller coaster of emotions on social media after watching Furious 7. Many said they got slammed by "all the feels." The crying emoji was used in abundance. The loss of Walker, who played protagonist Brian O'Conner and died in a car crash in 2013 before the movie was finished, hit grieving viewers hard after the Friday release.
Below, a by no means comprehensive collection of shoutouts for Walker, including some from the Furious cast. Walker's now-posthumous Twitter profile also chimed in.
#Furious7 had me laughing, crying and sitting on the edge of my seat for the entire movie. I am still crying#RIPPaulWalker— dan (@drodxo) April 4, 2015
Anyone who says they didn't cry at the end of #Furious7 is either lying, or doesn't have the same passion for the series as I do.— Monikaaa (@eh_monika) April 4, 2015
