Xuqa is switching gears again, changing its name to Peanut Labs and refocusing its attention on providing surveys for other social networks. Read our previous post on Xuqa here.

Made for use in virtual worlds, forums, social networks and all other online communities, Peanut Labs will help these communities monetize their sites by granting marketers prime access to users and splitting the revenue. By optimizing niche social networks, the companies can provide more valuable and targeted data. From its (fluff)friends Facebook application to its own experience with launching a social network and learning how to monetize a Gen Y user base, Peanut Labs has created its own niche and is offering its services to other social networks.

The surveys are integrated into social networks almost as games for the users. In participating, users are earning points or "peanuts" in exchange for useful information that goes to advertisers and market researchers.
