The first full trailer for the 2015 CG-animated Peanuts movie will hit the Internet on Thanksgiving day, a spokesperson for the film announced on Monday.

The highly-anticipated 3D feature film starring Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the gang will debut in theaters on Nov. 6, 2015. Produced by Paul Feig (the director of Bridesmaids), the film has big shoes to fill in following up the holiday staples of It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Mashable has obtained a few stills from the film, which reveal that the animation will stay true to Charles Schulz's original art for the popular and long-running comic strip. Feig told USA Today that their goal was to stay true to the "sweet optimism" of the creator.
