Put on a helmet -- you're in for a wild pelican-powered ride.
After a particularly nasty storm, a pelican stumbled ashore at the secluded Greystoke Mahale resort in Tanzania. The pelican, named Bigbird by the staff, was abandoned by his flock because he couldn't fly.
Luckily for him, resort workers took him in and helped him on his way. And luckily for us, they put a GoPro camera on his beak so we could see his first flight.
Bigbird takes a journey around Mahale Mountain National Park, playing high-flying virtual tour guide for the area's natural wonders. Hey presto: instant mental vacation, no passport needed.
