In order to help newbies and veterans alike manage the wealth of information that's already starting to pour in, PeopleBrowsr, an online visual dashboard that combines your Web profiles and connections, has created a centralized dashboard for SXSW and all conversations, parties, and events related to the big festival.

If you're unfamiliar with PeopleBrowsr, the site functions similar to TweetDeck, providing users with a column view of status updates and custom created groups, but it also combines your friends and updates across a myriad of other social sites like Flickr, Facebook, FriendFeed, Seesmic, YouTube, and LinkedIn for an all-in-one Web-based view of your social world.

The SXSW dashboard works in the same fashion with pre-fab columns, called stacks, that include updates with the #sxsw hashtag and ways to track contacts, events, and parties. Each stack comes with the option to view stats on tweets and a tag cloud for a birds-eye view of activity and hot topics.

The SXSW view supports standard PeopleBrowsr features like export, the option to view stacks on a map (which might help you find flash mob SXSW tweetups), in a gallery view, or in the default stream view. There's also a number of options when it comes to creating groups, searching, and filtering tweets.

Even though PeopleBrowsr doesn't have the most people-friendly interface, it might be just the tool you were looking for to filter through the SXSW noise and find the information you want when you need it most — in real-time.

For a little bit more detail on the SXSW PeopleBrowsr dashboard, you can watch the video below. And if you're in Austin, make sure to make an appearance at our must-attend bash.
