Fancy-looking peppermint bark is insanely easy to make

Stop giving fancy cookware stores all your money for their addictive peppermint bark. It's less expensive and much easier to make it at home.

Melt your chocolate chips and white chocolate chips over a double boiler or in the microwave, checking and stirring in 15-second increments. White chocolate chips, in particular, go from melted to burned very quickly in the microwave.

Start with just a drop of peppermint extract, then adjust to taste.
