The terms social and mobile are used together so often, it's easy to forget the most important function of your phone: a modern little black book. It contains everything from your contact info to the notes that five years ago, you would have scribbled on a napkin. And with apps, your phone is capable of so much more.
There are apps for organizing grocery lists which you can share with your family, apps for finding books, managing finances and keeping a diary. There's apps for finding dates, something most people prefer not to do on a shared device -- luckily app makers are aware of the demand and apps sometimes offer even more features than the web version, such as finding dates who are nearby.
