Our intrepid leader, Pete Cashmore, has been making all sorts of appearances here and there, no only interviewing and hobnobbing with actual celebrities, but making in-roads to becoming a bonefied celebrity in his own right, with the sheer volume of interviews he's done lately. The latest one is an appearance on Andy Plesser's Beet.TV.
In his interview, he describes in brief the history of Mashable, and what shiny baubles of Web 2.0 have captured his interest lately. We've been experimenting a bit with Flixwagon and Qik for ad hoc interview recordings as well as UStream for our more pre-planned spots, and Pete explains a bit why he thinks these are the up and coming focal points of Web technology at the moment.
