Having trouble convincing one of the world's biggest directors to work with you? No problem: Just send in the Doctor.

In a video shared to his official Facebook page, filmmaker Peter Jackson discusses "incoherent" emails from Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat about directing an upcoming episode of the sci-fi series, to which he has avoided replying.

As Jackson learns when he comes face-to-face with a frantic Doctor and destructive Dalek, never ignore Moffat.

The Doctor arrives at Jackson's home armed with a letter (or contract?) requiring an urgent signature, disrupting Jackson's afternoon of Oscar polishing. Whether Jackson signs the letter is yet to be disclosed, but all signs point towards a Jackson-directed episode of Doctor Who.
