Newly released mugshots of Phil Spector reveal that time and prison have taken a toll on the former music producer.

Spector is serving 19 years to life for the 2003 murder of Lana Clarkson. These mugshots were taken in October and July 2013, when he was moved to the California Health Care Facility in Stockton, a medical and mental health facility within the state's prison system. They were released to the public domain on Tuesday.

Most mugshots don't flatter their subjects -- and Spector's are no exception (if anything, they seem especially rough). The 74-year-old has taken on certain Gollum-like qualities.

For reference, a 2005 image of Spector on trial, before he adopted his new "I work for the Dark Lord Sauron" look.
