A Philadelphia-area business that burned on Saturday morning is now an ice castle after brutally cold temperatures froze the water used to battle the blaze.

Joe's Auto Body in Frankford caught fire around 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning, growing into a six-alarm fire that spread to half the block due to high winds. Besides the gusts, the extremely cold temps -- from the upper teens to the low 20s -- made fighting the fire a challenge for first responders. Three people, including a firefighter, were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The frozen ruins of the buildings still stood encased in ice on Sunday morning as many people, including Philadelphia Police officer Brian Geer, posted images and videos to social media.

Smoke from the fire forced at least two families to temporarily relocate and the closure of a section of one of the city's elevated transit lines.
