During Sunday's Phillies-Diamondbacks game, one selfish fan stole the spotlight from Maikel Franco after the first home run hit of his career.

After Franco knocks the ball into the stands at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, the rude Phillies fan climbs down from his seat and steals the ball from an older woman trying to retrieve it. We're talking aggressive rudeness here, as the fan shoves the woman's hand aside and walks off with the ball, totally unapologetic.

Wow what a classy @Phillies fan. Someone get that lady a ball. #jerk pic.twitter.com/238MO4SbdQ— Tara Ulrich (@Taraulrich1) May 17, 2015

The folks at Fox Sports caught the entire thing on camera, and decided to treat the older fan to a complimentary T-shirt.

It's hardly a replacement for the ball from Franco's first career home run, but it'll do.

And then this happened. Way to go @Dbacks and @FOXSPORTSAZ pic.twitter.com/H13t0OWZwa— Tara Ulrich (@Taraulrich1) May 17, 2015

Let's just hope the offending fan suffered his fair share of jeers following stolen ball-gate.
