Can Phone Bills Be Replaced by Infographics? [VIDEO]

If you're a personal finance geek, you've probably realized that while it's easy enough to track your spending, getting a granular breakdown of monthly bills is a challenge.

A French company called User Studio has a solution for this. "Refact," which is in the concept stage, provides a data visualization breakdown of the numbers in your bill that you really care about. (Which, as Creativity Online points out, are the same ones the phone company is trying to hide from you.) Seeing your spending represented visually -- on a printout, your phone, computer or tablet -- could in theory help you curb excessive spending and perhaps change your behavior.
