Since the dawn of filters, man has loved vintage photographs. Old-fashioned pics tug at the heartstrings, remind us to reminisce, and make for superb scrapbooking material.
That’s why for this week’s Mashable Photo Challenge, we’re kickin’ it old school. Pull out the retro T’s and dust off the record player, because nothing says vintage quite like a dated collection of Grandpa’s gear.
Consider themes that might be old fashioned and turn them into stylized vintage pics. Embrace soft lighting and low contrasts. Don’t forget -- a little dust or grain never hurt anyone. Work in black and white or light sepia tones to create images that channel vibes from earlier eras. For this challenge, there’s no such thing as passé.
