Today The Onion mocks the trend of oversharing youngsters with its hilarious faux news report: "Police Slog Through 40,000 Insipid Party Pics To Find Cause Of Dorm Fire" (embedded below).
Thanks to ten of thousands of photos posted from over 1000 iPhones, police were able to piece together every second of the dorm room fire, the fake report claims, which was quickly located and extinguished by authorities after 38 people Twittered that they were "fleeing a fire".
