Seattle band Go Periscope recorded videos of friends who thought they were just posing for photos.
The resulting footage is cringe-inducing and hilarious. Watch the smiling subjects grow increasingly impatient in the YouTube video above.
Go Periscope isn't the first to play this kind of prank. Director and film editor Dean Fleischer-Camp created a similar original video in May 2012.
