Photobucket Adds RSS Support

Photobucket, the photo sharing and slideshow creation site, has just announced its support of RSS feeds.

You can now subscribe to individual users, individual public albums, search results, or recent uploads of images, videos and remixes. Of course, you can use your browser tools to collect all your new Photobucket feeds, or use services like Yahoo or Google. Photobucket has been good enough to put instructions for each feed service you can use with this new feature. Hopefully they'll also make the RSS feed option more prominent on each user's page, as this is another easy way to share content amongst users.

This is a great step towards making their media more available to the larger public, and enabling individual users to be followed by those even outside the Photobucket community. As the RSS feed service stands now, it operates much like Facebook's newsfeeds, showing text for new items that have been added.
