Tattoo Artist Creates Stunning Photorealistic Family Portraits

Tattoo artist Dino Tomic is known for more than the art he creates on people's bodies.

The Norwegian artist also creates photorealistic mixed-media drawings of the human form, including a stunning six-piece project of family portraits. For this undertaking, Tomic created large-scale, life-like portraits of his parents and grandparents using colored pencil, colored charcoal, acrylic color and chalk pastel.

On his Facebook page, Tomic explained that each portrait took between 50 and 70 hours of work to complete. He is currently working on his sixth and final portrait in the series.
