Pope Francis will leave Manila in record-setting fashion, after an estimated 6 million people came out for his final mass there on Sunday.

That number tops the 5 million record previously set in 1995 by St. John Paul II at the same location in Manila's Rizal Park. Pope Francis spent four days in the Philippines, home to Asia's largest Catholic population, during a week-long tour of Asia.
