Yardbarker, a network of more than 550 sports blogs including those of several pro athletes, has signed on to use the service, which includes fully licensed images from Getty, Corbis, Image Source, and other photo agencies. In total, PicApp’s content library currently includes more than 10 million images, which can be inserted into publisher’s sites with copy and paste widget code. In exchange, PicApp places a small advertisement under the image.

Meanwhile, PicApp’s new funding totals $3.2 million, led by the Israeli firm Carmel Ventures. Additional investors include Yair Goldfinger, the co-founder of ICQ.
