Piczo Finally Gets a Mobile Site

Piczo is the latest to turn to Intercasting Corp. for the development of a mobile network on its Anthem platform. From the looks of it, Piczo will be offering SMS and MMS messaging on the mobile site, along with the ability to upload images directly from their handsets, and post comments onto Piczo pages.

This will all be integrated with Piczo's website offering, of course, and considering the main user base of Piczo, the mobile site should be a pretty popular one. We're just wondering what took Piczo so long?

[img src="" caption="" credit="" alt=""]As Intercasting works with a variety of wireless carriers like 3UK, Boost Mobile, Sprint and Virgin Mobile, Piczo will have a good reach across lots of users. Looking at this week's announcements so far, a good portion of them have been regarding new mobile networks. It must be the thing to do. The commonality here is the target demographic. Those teenagers are oh so mobile. But that goes without being said.

Piczo is a fairly frequented social network, and needs to have an optimized mobile site, and that's really are there is to it. So now Piczo has caught up with MySpace, Facebook, and even MTV Networks, which has also turned to Intercasting to recoup some of its lost user base with the lure of music-centric mobile networking tools.
