LONDON -- London Mayor Boris Johnson really should have seen it coming.

Johnson decided to host one of his weekly #AskBoris Twitter question and answer sessions two days after #PigGate, in which prime minister David Cameron is alleged to have carried out obscene acts with a dead pig back in his university days.

What could go wrong with #askboris? When will you get pig sick of questions? https://t.co/De3PRaKUvg— Neil Walker (@MediaMook) September 23, 2015

Along with the usual mix of serious and absurd questions, the outspoken, mop-haired mayor was inundated with one-liners, questions and creative Photoshops related to PigGate.

Is Boris Island still a goer? And, have you ever put your penis in a dead pig's mouth? #AskBoris— Tommy (@Tommy_1972) September 23, 2015

Johnson didn't take the bait though. He chose to answer questions on transport, housing and the refugee situation.

We have a new design for the trains - a new tube for london - and they will all be automatic. sensational #askboris @thcritchley— Boris Johnson (@MayorofLondon) September 23, 2015

This might not be the end of it, though.

We'll all be back next month. We won't forget. #piggate #AskBoris— Aphextwinsdad (@carbonjomo) September 23, 2015
