Pink swept into the Oscars like a tornado. But instead of opening her usual bag of acrobatic tricks, she decided to let her powerful vocals shine.

The pop star belted out "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" as a tribute to Judy Garland for the 75th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz at the 86th Academy Awards on Sunday night. The usually outlandish singer gave a surprisingly simple -- yet moving -- performance. Her red, long-sleeved gown sparkled like a ruby slipper throughout the powerful rendition of Garland's signature song.

Pink was well received by the entire audience, including Judy Garland's three children, Liza Minnelli, Lorna Luft and Joey Luft, who reunited to honor their mother's memory during the ceremony.
