Pinterest Co-Founder Leaves the Company
Pinterest co-founder Paul Sciarra has left the company to pursue a career at Andreessen Horowitz.
"From marking milestones in hundreds of new pins to millions, the company has grown, the product has evolved, and I’ve changed too along the way. After lots of reflection and plenty of discussion with Ben and others, I’ve decided that now is a good time for me to step down formally from day-to-day involvement. Of course, I’ll continue to be there for the company: now, as an advisor, an owner, and — as always — a dedicated pinner," Sciarra wrote in a blog post.
iPhone Outselling All Its Competitors Combined at AT&T and Sprint [REPORT]
Apple's iPhone is selling so well it may be outselling all other smartphones combined at Sprint and AT&T, claims Canaccord Genuity analyst Mike Walkley. "...we believe iPhones are outselling all other smartphones combined at Sprint and AT&T and selling at roughly equal volume to all Android smartphones at Verizon.” wrote Walkley in a note to clients.
Google Wallet Co-Founding Engineer Rob von Behren Leaves for Square
Google Wallet co-founding engineer Rob von Behren has left Google to join Square, the NFC Times reports. Although Behren did not initially see his career continuing in the payments space, he changed his mind after meeting the Square team. "Square is doing some great things in the payment space. They have a strong leadership team and a culture that fosters innovation,” he said.
