PJ Harvey's new music video has powerful message about refugee crisis

British rocker PJ Harvey has dropped a new music video for "The Wheel," a song from her upcoming album The Hope Six Demolition Project -- and it carries an important message.

Along with footage filmed in London, the video also features shots from two trips to Kosovo that Harvey took with filmmaker and collaborator Seamus Murphy in 2011 and 2015.

"The enormous refugee crisis in Europe had been news for months," Murphy told Noisey.

"It was happening in and through territories associated with recent conflicts in Kosovo and the wider Balkans -- the idea of cycles, wheels and repetition once again being all too apparent and necessary to make."

The song's lyrics, set to footage filmed around Kosovo, are particularly haunting:
