Ultimately, everything turned out OK for this TUIfly flight, but the footage of the landing still caused concern for onlookers.

Strong winds created a challenging situation as the plane came in to land at Madeira Airport in Portugal, on Oct. 20. TUIfly operates leisure flights and is based out of Germany.

The winds were a lingering remnant of Hurricane Gonzalo, which battered Bermuda, causing damage and power outages.

Flávio Silva captured the descent to the runway (watch above).

The winds moved to the UK on Tuesday, and the TUIfly plane was not the only one swaying as it landed. At the Manchester airport, an Air Portugal flight was captured on camera swaying in 50 mph winds. About 80 flights at Heathrow were canceled Tuesday due to high winds.
