Mashable has learned that Fox and Hasbro are currently in negotiations to create a live-action film about Play-Doh.

Paul Feig, of Bridesmaids and the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot, is reportedly in talks to direct.

Like Lego before it, the Play-Doh film would likely (hopefully) include some stop-motion elements, though there's no word at this point as to what exactly the movie will be. Play-Doh has become a popular material among stop-motion animators on Vine.

If these tweets are any indication, people aren't entirely psyched about the news.

These damn superhero movies. Taking up all the room from real cinematic art. Anyways... ...catch the Play-Doh movie next summer!— Superhero Feed (@SuperheroFeed) April 3, 2015

Hasbro's biggest film venture to date, 2012's Battleship, was a box-office and critical disappointment.
