Mashable has learned that Fox and Hasbro are currently in negotiations to create a live-action film about Play-Doh.
Paul Feig, of Bridesmaids and the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot, is reportedly in talks to direct.
Like Lego before it, the Play-Doh film would likely (hopefully) include some stop-motion elements, though there's no word at this point as to what exactly the movie will be. Play-Doh has become a popular material among stop-motion animators on Vine.
If these tweets are any indication, people aren't entirely psyched about the news.

Hasbro's biggest film venture to date, 2012's Battleship, was a box-office and critical disappointment.
