When Sony announced the PlayStation 4 in February, any images of the console itself were notably absent.
Sony released Monday a YouTube teaser for its presence at next month's Electronic Entertainment Expo that includes out-of-focus footage of the console -- the first glimpses we've seen of anything beyond the PlayStation 4 controller.

While all you can really identify from the video is the black square of the console, we'll be getting a bigger reveal of the PlayStation 4 at E3 on June 10 at 6 p.m. PT. The event will be live streamed, and we'll have continuing coverage of E3 and the PlayStation 4 on Mashable.
