What am I talking about? The viral flash game that is certain to be the next "Elf Yourself," QNX's PocketGeek, a game that tests your knowledge of what powers the typical coder as he works, and which combination of those elements will cause him to get the work done ahead of schedule, and which combination will result in the project self destructing.

While the game is entertaining in and of itself, it's actually being built as a promotional vehicle QNX's new niche social network, Foundry27. It is a network intended to increase sharing with the embedded development neighborhood. They built the community in response to the evidence they saw that unlikely companies are beginning to see the real value of online community building; that is to say companies who until now would stay within their target customer base.
