As several podcast networks are beginning to do now, PodBean is joining the social networking bandwagon in creating embeddable media players designed to feature their content for use in Facebook, MySpace and blogs. PodBean's public face is geared towards podcast audiences, but has an open door policy to new podcasters, offering free hosting, statistic tracking and advertising opportunities.

Their podcast player moves away from what might be considered the "1.0" standard for web based display of podcast, where each individual episode has it's own embed code and player, and uses what Podbean calls the "embed once, use forever" feature. This means you only need to do your embed once, and it will always show the most recent episodes, as well as previous episodes.
