Kaltura is the People's Choice award winner from the Open Web Awards for highly prestigious Video Sharing category. They are a web-based collaboration service for the creation of group videos.
Ron Yekutiel talked about in this interview the changing face of the tool they offer from entertainment device to actual business tool, and gave a great list of company-style applications for it. Additionally, he outlined the new strategy for the company going into 2008. I've only paid attention to Kaltura a little bit as it has played at the edges of my radar for the last several months. As Ron talks about in the interview, they've experienced monumental growth and sound like they have a world of interesting things going on. You can bet it is going to receive a great deal more attention from me in the future, and I have a feeling after viewing the interview, you'll feel the same way.
