LAS VEGAS -- Polaroid is obsessed with making cute cameras.
The company's Cube action cameras are adorable. The newly announced Snap+ sticker printer camera is adorable. And so is the iZone.

I found these little cameras at Polaroid's CES booth. At first glance, I thought they were mini washing machines, but nope, they're cameras.
These little guys have an 18-megapixel sensor, 8x optical zoom controlled by the +/- buttons on the side, and a 2-inch LCD display on the back. The shutter button is square in the middle on the top of the camera.
The iZone also records 1080p full HD videos. Photos and videos can be transferred to Android and iOS-connected devices over Wi-Fi via an app. You can also use a connected mobile device as a viewfinder if you find the 2-inch screen is too tiny for your liking.
There's no internal storage at all in the iZone, but you can easily (and cheaply) add storage with a microSD card.
None of the demo units had enough power for me to snap any pictures, so I can't say how good (or bad) the iZone's picture quality is. Given Polaroid's previous digital cameras, I wouldn't expect anything great.
