Some police officers use weapons to help people, other use their words. Still others come up with more innovative tools -- namely, their breasts.

Over in Colombia, police officer Luisa Fernanda Urrea was called to a remote forest, where a baby was reported abandoned. Upon discovering the baby, Urrea realized that her umbilical cord had been cut, she was starving, and struggling with hypothermia.

Urrea, thankfully, was a new mother herself. So she pulled out her breast and breastfed the child, nursing her back to safety.

"I’m a new mother and I have milk, and I recognized the needs that this poor little creature had… I think any woman would have given her nourishment in the same circumstances," Urrea told local news.

The baby is currently safe, and in the custody of the Colombian Family Welfare Institute, where she'll remain until she's adopted.
