Some ducklings are so cute they require an official police escort.

When a mother duck and her nine ducklings were trying to cross Bridge Street in St Andrews, Scotland, two helpful police officers were on hand to slow down traffic and see them safely back into the Kinness Burn River.

Camerman Yoriko Hirose follows the ducks on their merry, quacking way as they jump down from the bridge and waddle to the river bank, before finally mustering the courage to jump into the river after their mum.
